: (1) Police personnel shall not publish any article in any newspaper under their real or fictitious name or anonymously or broadcast on radio without obtaining the permission of the Government of Nepal. However, the police personnel designated as the spokesperson of the police organization will not be hindered from transmitting information or information related to the activities of the office with the permission of the head of the concerned police organization.
(2) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-rule (1), articles on literary, artistic, historical, scientific and commercial subjects may be published or broadcast. But after publishing or broadcasting such article, you should inform your office.
